I had a wonderful stay at the Bergland Hotel. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff immediately provided me with excellent recommendations for local dining options. They even were pretty good too fix a broken shutter in my room. The hotel is conveniently located near the old town, just a short walk away. The rooms are cozy and well-furnished, with comfortable beds and a fan to keep cool during the summer. I appreciated the ability to darken the windows with the shutters. I was really surprised to receive a complimentary cup of coffee after breakfast hours had ended. I had a lovely experience at the Bergland Hotel and would highly recommend it.

Private parking slot available. Clean room with nice furniture. Pleasant biergarten nearby. Helpful staff and owners. Varied breakfast options.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Salzburg. The location is perfect, only slightly out of the center, yet within walking distance from the historical center. The staff is welcoming and informative, always ready to offer great tips for exploring the region. The rooms are cozy and beautifully decorated with lovely old painted wooden furniture in the traditional Austrian style. The en-suite bathroom is a standout feature, with the most convenient layout we have ever experienced.
All went smoothly during our stay.
